The Worse of the Worst

Re: What would you note for the worst sci fi/fantasy movie ever?

Dracula 3000 - this film has utterly no connection to the somewhat decent 'Dracula 2000'. Spoiler follows although I consider it a warning:

D3K takes place on a space ship whose crew takes on some coffins (run-of-the-mill wood coffins) from an alien world for transport. Dracula pops out in full opera-cape/puffy sleeve glory. The crew find pool sticks (pool sticks in the year 3000?) to use as stakes while Dracula preys on the crew, except one of the crew who was an android, and immune. One of the crew was wheelchair-bound (not motorized - guess it sucks to be handicapped in the year 3000). The racial tensions in the crew mirror the stereotypes of today. Again this is supposed to be 1000 years in the future?

The film has no ending - the actors could barely be kept on-screen during the final scene. The ship is going to blow up anyways and they decide to go have sex. The ship blows up. THAT was the ending.

Re: What would you note for the worst sci fi/fantasy movie ever?

Galaxina comes to mind (though it does have Dorothy Stratten). As a film, though, among the worst I've ever seen, in any genre.

The Man With the Screaming Brain.

When even Bruce Campbell can't save a movie, you know something terrible has been done...

:lol::lol:
I nearly put that one on my list too.

The Worst of the Worst. (sorry, can't help myself)
TV:
Knight Rider

Just curious - The original Hasselhoff Knight Rider (which I liked Seasons 1 and 3) or the new Knight Rider which I have yet to find a single redeeming factor -- or both?

I'll have to go with both.

Re: What would you note for the worst sci fi/fantasy movie ever?

Sci-Fi - Leprechaun 4 In Space
Fantasy - Troll 2

I'm actually ashamed to admit that I've seen these and my biggest regret in life will probably be the time I lost watching them.

Re: What would you note for the worst sci fi/fantasy movie ever?

Hardware. This "film" had a deceptively good trailer, and some cool music/musical appearances like Iggy Pop, but it was easily the worst movie I've ever seen in theaters and one of the few I've ever walked out on.

So much so that to this day my cousin and I, who saw it together 18 years ago, still occasionally use the 'Hardware Scale' to judge movies with 10 being best and Hardware being -1.

Smallville. Jesus H does that show suck.
Star Trek: The Motion Picture- A real snoozer. I don't know if I could last through the first minute.
Any sci-fi channel "original" movie of the week.

Re: What would you note for the worst sci fi/fantasy movie ever?

^Are you sure we're talking about the same movie? The one I saw was laughingly awful.

Plan 9 From Outer Space
Doom
Dreamcatcher
Batman Forever
Batman and Robin
Labyrinth
The Dark Crystal
Willow
The NeverEnding Story
it ended
The Goonies
Battlefield Earth (this is back when I thought scientology was science as a religion - nope!)
Virus
Mortal Kombat 2
Street Fighter

TV:
Farscape (I tried, I really tried)
Lexx
Dr. Who or any British science fiction
Galactica TOS & '80 (WTF is a centon?)

The Worst of the Worst. (sorry, can't help myself)

Buck Rogers in the 25th Century

I was a teenaged boy during the first run of that show.

I, literally, would have fucked Erin Gray until I died from ejaculating all available fluid from my body.

The first season was okay, but then they went out in the Space Winnebago and met up with Birdman.

Joe, wouldn't have fucked Birdman
