The weirdest/worst Doctor Who toy ever?

Yeah i posted this in the figure thread. Might be worth a grab, if only to get the Doctor "parts".

I read somewhere (possibly here) that Benedict Cumberbatch turned down Who because he didn't want his face on lunchboxes (and possibly underpants). Seeing that pic above, perhaps he made the correct choice.

My picks:

The three maggots that came with a Third Doctor figure.

Sil--basically a brown turd atop a fancy outhouse that came with the Peri figure

To be fair, that's not a toy. At least, not without ripping off the elastic first, but then the elastic would be the toy not the creepy image. (Suggestion for new thread topic: evil things you could do with underwear elastic bands as a kid.)

Either way, I'm still not nearly as creeped out as the random, (collectible even!) half-melted body parts.

My serious vote for "worst" was the sonic screwdriver that came out in the 80s. It had to use C batteries to make the whirring noise, and as such was at least three times too big and looked rediculous..

Seriously? Size "C"? They couldn't do it with AA?

Those are indeed good picks. Especially the three maggots. Hmm... I can get Pertwee and a Dalek or Pertwee and a Sea Devil or... Pertwee and three green lumps of plastic for the same price. Tough call there.

Let's not forget that orange lump of plastic (Axon) that came withe the first release of the Delgado Master. Of course, they just re-released the same Delgado Master with a 70s style computer bank Tardis. Had I known, I wouldn't have bought the first one.

The enthusiasm is waning quite fast for collectors of CO's classic line. On a few DW forums I visit, most have simply given up, passing on the four Davros sets and the two Sontaran sets because... they're all tweaks or repaints of existing figures.

I myself am done with the line unless they release classic companions. I accept that it'll likely be in two-pack formats, a classic companion and either a re-release of something or some stupid thing I don't want (like Sil) but if that's the price for getting companions, I'll live with it. And then I'll be done.

And considering the rumoured SDCC classic... well, actually, there is no classic SDCC exclusive this year, just a classic line announcement but... rumour is, it's a repainted Peri with a repainted Ainley Master. Yeah. I'm all over that one.
