Anyone else want to keep telling me that Carol's façade is going to keep going unnoticed? Hell, even the Talking Dead people were echoing what I've been saying about Deanna maybe cluing into Carol's BS. Carol is playing with fire. Hell, Gabriel is in the teaser for next week saying "Satan disguises himself as the angel of light. That false light will destroy everything" Who do you think he's talking about?
Who says he's not talking about a new enemy, or the biggest deceiver of all--someone who was a
politician? Deanna does nothing but sell, sell, sell some glorious community/future. Like the Governor, to newcomers, the image of a hearty leader fighting to restore society is all BS, as the true nature of the outpost is revealed, and let's face it, there's nothing remotely normal or right about the ASZ.
This shit Carol is playing & to a lesser extent Rick too, & Daryl seems to have dissented from that fold a little in refusing to take the lifted guns.
Daryl seems like a set up waiting to happen. From the convenient motorcycle parts, to the job offer, Daryl broke protocol and revealed that sense of being independent to the degree that Aaron can offer exactly what Daryl would desire.
In a sense, his refusal to take the guns also reminds me of Andrea, not long after arriving in Woodbury, where she pulled back from Michonne in order to fall into the new location--without suspicion.
Sasha just has PTSD. Sadly it's not really PTSD if the T isn't P yet. I'm not nearly as worried about her though, but you never know.
But her hostility--even with Abraham and Michonne--cannot lead to any good outcome.
Somehow I have a bad feeling Michonne's balloon has to burst, at least this big pretty balloon she's riding on. She can still have hope, but this is just a dream too high
I agree. Mounting her sword might be the biggest mistake (psychologically) made since living in the ZA.
It's good to finally be in the meat of the season. They drag a bit getting to this point, imo[/QUOTE]

It could be Carol, or it could be just about the group in general. I kinda think it's about Rick, especially after he gave the speech about how they shouldn't let people in, and how he was talking about taking over Alexandria. Gabriel has not yet forgotten about the church massacre.
Good point. Rick is the
leader, who sets the tone--makes decisions. That, and he knows little about Carol (and i'm guessing that includes Lizzie's fate). So, if he believes anyone is a potential devil, it is the man who hacked Gareth to death in a church.
