The Voyager flat is up for sale (UK)

What I would love is a guide on how he did all of this. Im not sure I would know where to start and one could make an epic man-cave with it.
 
Cool place, but as a pad to hang out with friends. I couldn't see myself living there on a daily basis. The apt. is made to look like a starship, but why do they think that it looks like Voyager. It doesn't look like Voyager to me. :)
 
If I had the money, I would buy it immediately. This is my dreamhouse! :bolian:

I would probably become like the old Who drummer Keith Moon if I lived there. He loved to dress up in different costumes, pretending to be different characters, often being the same character for a whole day to the amusement and irritation of his family, other band members and friends.

I can see myself getting up in the morning, dressing up in a Starfleet Uniform, walking into the kitchen, screaming: "Mr Neelix, what do we have for breakfast today?" The pretending to be Neelix, while fixing that breakfast. Then, when breakfast is ready, I would go back to being myself again, saying "Thanks Neelix, it looks delicious!"

After that I would turn to the kitchen door, saying: "Captain Janeway, please join me for some breakfast! Neelix has managed to come up with the best coffe in the Delta Quadrant today."

If I had a girlfriend or wife who happened to enter the room it would be: "Kes, you look wonderful today! Please join me for some breakfast."

If a mailman would show up outside my door with some unwanted bills, I would bellow: "Get off my ship, you Kazon pusshog!"

How fun life would be! :D

So....the windows have been blacked out, the kitchen is unusable, there appears to be no space for loafing around and the blue lights will drive you crazy after a while (let alone that it's previous owner was arrested for owning child porn).

....yeah, pass.
 
Actually, the guys been trying to sell the place for years. I remember seeing a thing on TV about it. it was on Ebay for 100k

It's now 70k

The novelty would wear off pretty quickly
 
I can see converting one room, like a tv room or rec room, but not an entire house or apartment.
 
I'm in a studio and would never do that. Though mine is a rental, and you can't make major alterations like that without permission, and even then there are limits. Even the wrong kind of window blinds isn't allowed. And when you move out, you have to return it to original condition, so even painting the walls would be a problem.
 
I can't imagine walking out of direct sunlight on a summer day into...that.

...as cool as it is, of course. I could see a basement made up this way but a whole house would be mindnumbing.
