The Valkyrie

Well, they took a while, and are far from finished, but here's a set of dorsal, ventral and elevation schematics.

I think the design would look better from the side elevation if you took a design cue from the Enterprise-E, and allowed for a "lower saucer dome" to protrude down a little to give it a little touch of TOS.

Flux.

I like your ship, very very much. You are quite talented and I am muchly impressed.

One note I would suggest, just my own perspective and my own personal preference (as I can't draw worth shit -- you should see my storyboards!). .... fix the nacelles on the shuttle so they aren't hanging off the back of the shuttle. Have the wings/pylons be attached to the ends of the nacelle so they advance forward, next to the shuttle itself. Balances everything out.

Just a suggestion.

Otherwise, keep up the excellent, excellent work.

Just now noticed this too... I like that from the top, it looks like the ship was just carved from the Starfleet arrowhead. Nice touch.

Flux Capacitor, this is one of the rare "fanon" starship designs I've seen that I think would be right at home in the canon Trek universe--I place the Valkyrie in select company with such outstanding achievements as Vektor's Grandeur and Dennis Bailey's Phoenix. (Your shuttle concept is also oozing slick-ness.)

Outstanding!

It has taken me a littler longer than I thought it would to get around to the orthos of the ship and to finish up the scene I had planned for my original sketch, but here's something I whipped up last night while it was fresh in my mind. Its the larger of the ship's support craft and perhaps the next generation of Federation runabout.

Very hot-rod-ish. All that's missing is fins. ;)

That's a sweet shuttle, man.
