A coworker went to the games two weeks ago. They got a hotel room and stayed over the weekend and watched all the games. It's a bit like a double header weekend, I guess.

I think their brilliant plan is to get West Coast audiences to watch. I'm not expecting it to work...

I think they are starting to flounder. Rules have been changed this week to get games under three hours. Clock will continue to run after incomplete passes in the first and third quarters.

I think it is just continual failure until one of these leagues pony up money that gets them someone better than the 60th player on an NFL roster.

I never really thought about the fake crowd noise the TV crews add to these games until now. I suppose it beats dead silence.

Speaking of poor attendance, the New Orleans defence hasn't shown up for most of the game.
