The US Office 4.12 "Did I Stutter?"

Ethros

Vice Admiral
Admiral
Has there been a thread on this yet? I've just watched it myself and can't find one, so I'll make this

The main thing I have to say is- poor Jim, and Ryan is a massive wanker!
I hope his coke addiction is uncovered by Corporate soon

Thoughts / Comments ?

I think it was less Ryan than Toby, but I just can't help but like Toby!

"Fluffy fingers" was the highpoint of a very entertaining episode.

Really? I thought it was the one unrealistic part of an otherwise painfully realistic episode.

I thought that was hilarious, and continued the tradition of Darryl exploiting Michael's complete lack of familiarity with the African American community, and his latent bigotry in assuming that all black people have been in gangs or come from the hood. If it's weren't for those well-established character traits then it would have indeed been unrealistic.

"Which one? Bloods? Crips?"
"Both."

Agreed, that whole scene killed me.

This was a great episode. It's so rare to see a whole episode in the office these days. And was glad to see Michael handle himself well and with dignity after Stanley told him he didn't respect him.

The only bit that really fell flat for me was the end bit with Michael's Rodney Dangerfield thing which went on about a minute too long.

What is the view on Pam in the glasses then?

She'd probably look a hell of a lot better with a better pair. The ones she had on were pretty bad

M: Bloods or Crips?

D: Both... and the Latin kings, The Warriors... Newsies, all of them.

I thought it was a good episode. The conclusion was surprisingly mature for the show. I was almost sure Michael was going to go with the fluffy fingers.

I forgot all about the Newsies reference. That merits a photoshop.

Well, yeah - it would take a pretty bad pair of glasses to make Jenna Fischer look unattractive. :) :p

The gang stuff was so funny. The guy who plays Darrell is so good with his delivery.

I thought it was a good episode, though I really did feel bad for Michael!

I was really proud of Michael - actually acting like a real human being for a solid 30 seconds! He stood up for himself with dignity. But I agree, the monologue at the end was painfully long.

Pam with the glasses was adorable.
