I should have known posting this on a Trek board would get a bias result.
But who knows, maybe they end up coming out!

We're hardly the general population. And on average, compared to the general population, we're too smart to be doing something like playing the lottery.

That said, I chose "a" number.

Well, we've ended up with 3 front runners: 36, and (unsurprisingly) 42 and 47.
Of the rest, 12, 13, 18, 25, 31, 37 43, 44 and 49 gained one vote each.

So, how is this going to work now? Main 3 numbers plus any three of the other chosen, or what? What will count as a valid result?

I guess at the very least, the experiment could land us a tenner.



I wonder: would this thing work better with the Euro Millions next Friday? (An estimated €77 million is up for grabs. )

So the three definitely going through for tonight is:

36, 42, 47.

Runner up numbers are:

12, 13, 18, 25, 31, 37, 43, 44 and 49.

I have absolutely no idea how this is going to work now.

I'm just going to sit back and see if the 6 numbers that come out tonight are in the chosen 12 numbers.

Actually I think i'll put the top three numbers on and then put 18, 25 and 31 on with them because that seems to make more sense to me for coming out.

So I'm off to the shop to put the following numbers on:

18, 25, 31, 36, 42, 47.

and I think I'll put a backup line on of:

12, 13, 37, 43, 44, 49.

So i'll have used all 12 chosen numbers on two separate lines.

Well, having determined twelve numbers out of a possible forty-nine, we got two - 12 and 31.

None of them 36, 42 or 47.

Incidentally, the jackpot will roll over to Wednesday. £7 million says this experiment won't work next time, either.
