I wasn't flaming you perse. I was just making a generalization. Though, seriously I do despise that term.
Still, to keep things somewhat light, I will mention my regret of not collecting the Titans TPB of Time Wars before it went OOP. My Titans TFUK collection is just that complete sadly.

The animation was done by AKOM, who did a handful of Season Two episodes and (sadly) the majority of Season Three, plus the final three episode saga The Rebirth.
Their animation is notoriously bad and cheap. Note the sheer number of animation errors in this episode alone:

"The Core" is probably one of their worse ones in terms of quality, as well as the somewhat general silliness of the story (depending on your POV, it's basically about the Autobots enslaving the Constructicons with technology). But I tend to think "The Secret of Omega Supreme" really suffers a lot for some reason, in that there are a lot of scenes that are glaringly recycled from other parts of the episode.
Wow. That looks really bad. Maybe I don't want to see season three after all. So switching companies was an extremely bad financial decision to increase their profits?
To be fair, there are some gems in season 3. The "Five Faces of Darkness" miniseries is quite enjoyable. "Ghost In The Darkness" is fun and "Webworld" is fantastic in a very literal sense. Of course, "Only Human" is a must see for any GI Joe fan. "Call of the Primitives" is particularly well-done from an animation standpoint. And the final episodes of the season, including "The Burden Hardest To Bear" and "The Return of Optimus Prime" are simply iconic.
I've never really figured out how "Webworld" got made. Galvatron has sort of gotten a bad rap from some fans who consider him to be crazy, but this is the only episode where he's depicted as being literally crazy to the point of being an utterly ineffectual leader.

I must have rewound that about 10 times
I also watched the Season 2 episodes The Master Builder and Auto Beserk. Two similair episodes where some of the Autobot ranks allign themselves with the Decepticons, and surprise surprise, it doesn't end well.
I did this with the intention of following it up with one of my favourite Dr. Smoov youtube vids- Autobot Alert, a parody of said episodes, so they'd be fresh in my mind.
Oh man, that guy is genius!!

And Prime's speech to Grapple & Hoist is definitely how the episode should have really ended.

Some of them have been quite good. I've got my eyes peeled for Wreck-Gar, and Cyclonus is easily one of the best figures to be produced in recent years. He's been in a two-pack reissue with Hot Rod (Rodimus), with both characters being given paint jobs closer to their animated models than to the original figures (Rodimus is more of a brick red coloration, while Cyclonus had his G1 toy colors and the Japanese version is a lighter purple than the cartoon version. The 2P version is a good balance).
The wide releases of Dirge and Thrust are also great, as they originally only available at BotCon and their colors have been improved considerably over those versions. They are more show accurate, and Dirge has the added plus of using the G1-accurate Japanese mold with the correct wings. The BotCon version was a repainted version of Ramjet and therefore had his wings, while the Japanese mold has wings like the G1 style. I only wish that the current Dirge still had his thick Ramjet style weapons, like his BotCon mold, rather than the basic Seeker weapons. But that's a pretty minor nitpick.
You can see on God Magnus' site the differences between the two versions, and I think many would agree with me that the Generations colors are a distinct improvement. The BotCon figures aren't bad, by any means, but they are noticeably darker and not quite as show accurate.

I'm following the IDW ongoing. Issue #18 came out Wednesday but I haven't read my books yet. I've been enjoying it overall.
The Dreamwave material was good. It took place more as an extension of the G1 cartoons and the IDW feels more like a mix of toon/movie universe at times, imo.

Warpath is suppossed to be in Wave 4 of the Generations line I believe.
I'm honestly worried about finding some of the later waves at retail. With Dark of the Moon toys likely to hit in the next month chocking out peg space.

When I was a kid in the UK series one was the only series that was shown, and even then not at a good time of day.
As such series two and three were something of a novelty on DVD for me - prety much introducing new characters/toys every week it seemed. To actually see something post movie was quite refreshing. Obviously I don't look at things as closely as I used to - I never spotted the errors! - but I quite liked that episode. It featured a rare series 3 appearance for Soundwave, for one thing.
