The T'plana-Hath Vulcan lander from First Contact has indeed made it into the movie as was suspected by many and can be seen on this screenshot:

(look top middle and bottom left, amongst others)

Other visual references can be seen here:

Chandra from "Court martial", Komack from "This side of Paradise" and "Amok time", Alice Rawlings - the actress that played Jamie Finney in "Court martial"

Countless drinks and food from various episodes and movies, like Jestral tea, Mareuvian tea, Prometheus nectar and prune juice (a warrior's drink).

Cool!

What scene is the shot with the T'Plana-Hath supposed to be from? And anyway, I can't find a BoP there. I've tried looking to the right of the lower-left ship, but can't see it. I don't suppose anyone would mind highlighting ito for me?

Nice finds! That's what I was hoping for when the film gets released on DVD/Blu-Ray. :techman:

No guarantee that's what it really is, but there's something there. The round front of the "hull" might be a spotlight, though. I've outline what I think forms the shape of the ship.

I think it actually looks a lot like this ...

I think I see Serenity from Firefly on the right middle platform on the Romulan mining ship.

^Okay, you'll have to outline that one for me, as there are a lot of "right middle" platforms.

Jesus the Nerada was big. I can't wait for a certain ultra-technical STXI-bashing website to spend pages (over-)analyzing shots like this whining about how "wrong" all these landed ships are.

I can't see it myself, but i hope the Serenity is in there somewhere.

Wow, that would be Bernd me writing that article, I guess. Well, I think this will only appear on the Injokes page, I guess, together with the other ships from other series that appeared on Trek and the Trek ships that appeared on other series.

I see what you're looking at - the 'neck' certainly looks right, but I don't think it is actually Serenity. Be cool though :D

Erm, I hate to nitpick, but what the heck is a 21st century Vulcan scoutship doing on board a late 24th century Romulan vessel??? :wtf:

So while looking at a mining ship that has been enhanced by Borg technology, thus turning it into an Octopus that so happens to have a drill that can cut straight into a planet's core and then drop funky liquid that creates a black hole thereby destroying the planet, you're distracted by the presence of a 300 year old scoutship within its hangar?

Those are easy to justify, if we consider Nero “modus operandi” to invite the captains of the ships he attacks. Provided that the T’plana-Hath type were still in use at the time…
As for the other ships, who knows? Rura Penthe isn’t canon and 25 year is a lot of time…

Maybe the T'plana Hath is to the Alpha Quadrant what the Ford Fiesta is to England, dime a dozen craft that you're not surprised to find anywhere and a design that doesn't change that much over the decades?

*Yay for the shrug!
