The Top Big Bad of NuWho

If you had a choice of any NuWho Big Bad (the Daleks, the Cybermen, the Master, Davros, the Lord President of the Time Lords, and the Universal Cracks), which would you choose to be the biggest and baddest of them all?

The cracks weren't a villain, they were a plot device so that gets ruled out right away. My vote goes with the Master. I'm a huge Master fan and loved Jon Simm's performance as the character in the RTD era. It will be interesting to see if he returns in the Moffat era and who plays him.

The Master. He's always the one that gives The Doctor the closest run for his money.

However, keep in mind, I'd never, ever, ever turn down another appearance from The Dalton, if they feel so inclined. He ruled as Rassilon... :techman:

Davros and the Daleks. come on, the dude was out to destroy ALL reality. making everyone look like yourself or making Earth into a new Time Lord Empire pales in comparison.

Yeah Davros was basically the Dalek's puppet and in turn they were Dalek Caan's puppet since Davros was following his prophecy.

They've all been fairly pathetic overall, because owing to some poor writing they're all defeated by some variant of a magic button. I caught the second half of Midnight on Watch the other day and it was surprisingly good (maybe because I'd tuned in too late to catch the obligatory "by the way, I'm a lesbian even though it has nothing to do with anything" for an RTD script). There's a genuine feeling that the Doctor might be for it. So I guess I'll go for the Midnight monster.

^Near the beginning, the lady mentioned she had just broken up with her girlfriend...

Martha Jones.

She might not have been all that big, but she certainly was bad.

Biggest? The Absorbaloff, I think. He was pretty rotund.

There was that giant erector set Cyber King, too.

The Cult of Skaro.

Yeah they didn't have strong episodes, but as a group they were better than any Dalek faction we've seen before or since.

If they had made Jast, Thay and Caan silver/grey instead of gold/bronze they would've been even better.
