The TNG Quiz

Name the three ships that were offered to Riker during the 7 year run on TV, and the episodes in which they were mentioned.

USS Drake - The Arsenal of Freedom
USS Aries - The Icarus Factor
USS Melbourne - The Best of Both Worlds

Picard did not appear in any other series finale except All Good Things...
His voice featured in These Are The Voyages, but it was just stock audio, which is why I mentioned old recordings. Anyway, I didn't really expect them to count, just thought I'd throw 'em out there. :)

Based on on-screen evidence, in what physical way do Data and Lore significantly differ?

Hmm, Mem-Alpha has examples of Data being left-handed. Nevertheless, I'd argue that's a software difference. I'm looking for a strictly physical difference. As in the construction of their bodies.

They have a different model phase discriminator, don't they? Anyway, Data is left handed as well, because Brent Spiner is.

Yes they do. Data's is type R & Lore's is type L. I'm not aware of any difference in physicality apart from the eye tick that he corrected in his 1st appearance. Even Soong couldn't tell them apart

AHH! I take that back. Their EARS!

In Unification, Data tells Dr. Crusher that his ears are fully integrated components & not removable. Therefore, she wouldn't be able to replace them with Romulan looking ones. Whereas Lore, is shown to have detachable ears in Datalore

I guess I'll have to give you that one, Tiberius. Darn it. :)

What I was really after was that Lore's ears are removable (seen in Datalore) and Data's are not (stated in Unification).

EDIT: Ha! Just in under the wire! Well done, Mojochi!

Thanks. That's maybe the most obscure factoid in the whole thread. I hadn't even realized it until I looked up some screencaps of Datalore & saw the missing ears & remembered the Romulan scene. Very tricky!

What did Kahless use to make his sword?

BTW, given the coolness of this thread, I've decided to make one for Voyager as well! You can find the Voyager Quiz over HERE.
