Oh he did and it was a really solid performance. But Basehart was so over it by then, you could feel the boredom coming through the television.

Yeah the leprechaun one was the worst of the series.But still played straight....
Well, with a light touch, but not quite as light as Return of Blackbeard, which really came off as a comedy. And a good one at that.
