The Time of the Angels mini clip from BBCA(mild spoilers)

Digital Spy has released the ten teasers for Saturday's Episode.

1. When we meet Doctor Song, she's on the run - but she has an escape plan involving The Doctor.

2. The episode includes the caption "10,000 years later."

3. There's a Weeping Angel trapped inside the Byzantium.

4. First mention of "spoilers"? 9 minutes 27 seconds.

5. Amy: "Is River Song **** ****? ... "She's *** ****** from the ******, isn't she?"

6. There's a device that harks back to 'Silence In The Library'. Think "hey, who turned out the lights?"

7. Amy should really learn that too much TV is bad for her eyes.

8. The Doctor. Bites. Amy.

9. River: "I have pictures of *** **** *****."

10. The cliffhanger isn't the usual sort of two-parter cliffhanger we've grown accustomed to with new Who. Despite being very familiar.

Amy: "Is River Song **** ****?... "She's *** ****** from the future, isn't she?"
Amy: "Is River Song Time Lord?... "She's The Doctor from the future, isn't she?"

Or.

Amy: "Is River Song your wife?... "She's his ****** from the future, isn't she?"
River: "I have pictures of *** **** *****."
River: "I have pictures of Amy Pond naked."

I do wonder in the 2008 two parter with River that she thought David Tennant Doctor was after Smith and not before since she knows Smith version. Happy to see them meet again though I want to see there first meeting, maybe it will happen after we lose Amy in the future though hopefully not for a few year ;)

Frankly, that sucks to me.

I've always associated That Sound with engines of mighty power, shifting a machine through time and space while keeping it smaller on the outside.

That just makes him sound like my mad old lady neighbour who DOES drive down the road with her handbrake on.

I imagine the engines at full power would still make a similar kind of sound, but just a bit less... wheezy and grindy. :D

Because I have to admit, currently it DOES kind of sound like the engines are gasping for breath, and struggling to get the job done.

I bet when the episode airs, the true ANAL side of the Who fandom will kick up a HUGE FUSS about the engine line.:shifty:

My only issue with this is that every other TARDIS we've seen in the classic series makes the same noise... so either the Master and the Rani are as hopeless at piloting as the Doctor is, or...

Well, we know a TARDIS is supposed to be operated by six people. Maybe it takes six people to make sure the brake isn't left on? And the Doctor intentionally left the brake on in Journey's End when he had a full crew because he likes the sound?

Whoa...speculation to follow...

ARE THERE GOING TO BE TWO (2) RIVER SONGS IN THIS??

Quite a shift for River to go from wearing an elegant evening gown with high heels (rrrrooowwl!) to military fatigures! Why would she change into military fatigues?

Mt theory: The Doctor meets River from his future, the River who can fly the TARDIS and knows what is to happen to the Doctor...then The Doctor and Amy get touched by an angel and sent back in time...only to find a younger River Song! This new River Song doesn't know the Doctor, and is possibly someone he can't trust...yet.

Just my own theory. Very excited for this episode.

But River did it by herself in the above clip. No, I think the Doctor is a just bit crap at driving the Tardis.

He stole the damned thing; he may not even be licensed.

Because looking around a spooky cave thing with creepy statues isn't the ideal place to wear them.

That would be my guess as well. Only Servalan would wander through a cave system in an evening gown!

So this http://onemansblog.com/2007/02/07/10-worst-drivers-ever-caught-on-video/ is the parallel on Earth of the Dr in the TARDIS.

The Doctor would obviously know how to drive the Tardis if the stupid thing would stop reconfiguring itself every few years. Now where did you put that brake button this time? Ah never mind off we go.

And look damn good doing it!

There is kind of a precedent regarding this thing with the noise. Note in The End of Time, Gallifrey did not make the noise when it appeared in Earth orbit. True, Gallifrey is not a TARDIS, but I would assume TARDIS engines were involved to move Gallifrey.

But it was Time Locked, which I would take to mean that the planet was completely out of our linear dimension. When the Master opened the portal, he was basically releasing the lock, which drawn Gallifrey out, akin to removing the cork from a tilted bottle. It was a passive action.
