Okay to be more realistic Chakotay the idealist would paint a very rosy picture of the AQ and the Federation and probably cough up what positives he knew about Cardassians. A literary people given to philosophy blah blah. The kid would grow up dreaming of this mythical place that his other daddy would one day plunder.
