The theme song is just atrocious

It's one long story arc, so it won't always make sense in the middle. However my favorite episode of season 3 is E2.

The quality or lack thereof a theme song/tune should be the least of peoples concerns regarding a show. No doubt many shows have theme songs/tunes that certain people dislike.

In season 5 it was supposed to be revealed that T'Pol's father was a Romulan spy and still alive.

I dunno. People are critical of the opening theme a lot. The board regulars should know by now I'm by now means shy of being critical of the series, but I actually liked the opening theme song and accompanying clips a lot. I'd say it's my favorite of the five opening credits.

It's a great theme song. The theme and the imagery with it were very evocative Trek's spirit of exploration. I enjoyed it very much.

It was a surprise at first since every other series had an instrumental but it grew on me and I quite like it for the reasons you stated.

Personally I hate the theme but it's a matter of taste the score on the other hand was excellent, the best of the modern treks IMO.

The Mirror theme is epic.

I never understood why the ENT theme got happier when the series got darker...it doesn't bother me it just doesn't make a lot of sense.
