The Teaser Trailer has arrived!!

Re: Teaser Trailer Debunked!

Well it's almost guaranteed that all we're going to see is some special effects, stirring music and perhaps some narration. Work on the trailer began before filming even commenced so it's unlikely that we'll see any actual footage.

So who has got plans to see the trailer tomorrow? I hope like hell it's attached to theaters in Australia.

Anyone? Let's discuss. :)

It is?

*checks*

Aw crap. There go my plans for tomorrow.

Re: Teaser Trailer Debunked!

I think this will be a lot like the teaser trailer for The Dark Knight -- some neat F/X, narration and music.

I don't think we'll see a trailer with footage until possibly with Indy IV in May.

I'd be satisfied with something like that, especially if it gave us something - just as that trailer gave us some lines of dialogue from the film.

Re: Teaser Trailer Debunked!

Since when have we needed something tangible to criticize? ;)

Re: Teaser Trailer Debunked!

We're running a little short on criticizing rumours and hypotheses, just look at that Trekkies Against Torture campaign. We need fresh material to pick apart fanatically and to devise wild theories from.

This image has been floating around US Navy computers since the 1990's. I don't know why you people are so worked up.

Its definitely a fake. I have seen many in time and this is certainly one of them.

Its not polished or smoothed out. its a little ropey and the angles and movements, especially from the pod to the dry dock is a little off.

Again, i agree with Cary L Brown, the drydock and planets are easily obtainable from places like scifimeshes.com etc. Even the Ent herself is available in many different forms, so to download, tweak and render a trailer isnt that difficult when you just download most of the material and add little details here and there.
