The Teacher from "Spocks Brain".......

Hmmm, a electrical current through the brain sounds very dangerous. Sure there seem to be positive effects with temporarily improving memory but they don't know what the long term effects will be. For all we know you're overloading the brain and inflicting permanent damage.

Just like injecting nitrous oxide in your engine, sure it will give you a boost but it will destroy the engine eventually.

Anyway, it might be worth the risk for someone with Alzheimer's but using it as a "Great Teacher"-ish device seems like a bad idea.

Last night I put 2 wires from a small battery powered massager device to my earlobes using conductive foam and adjusted the power setting to just discernible feeling of current passing through my brain for about 12 minutes as the device switches itself off automatically.I measured the current to be about 5 microamps to 20 microamps depending on setting.1 microamp=0.000001 amp

I found that I experienced quite vivid and pleasant amusing dreams.Prior to yesterday I did not remember dreams at all.

Also it was found that for stroke patients passing a 0.001 or 0.002 amp current for 20 minutes improved their recovery substantially...google transcraniel magnetic therapy or direct current transcraniel therapy..
