The Suzie Plakson Appreciation Thread

Forbin

I was quite pleased to see your signed photo. As I mentioned earlier I received a signed message on the CD which I received but I always had just a sneaking suspicion that someone else might have signed them for her. However that sig is unmistakable. Thanks a lot.

Definately a round of applause for Suzie! I only wish the would have done a few retro episodes of how she and Worf met.

Glad I could inintentionally help! :)

I've always found her incredibly sexy. There's just something about her that turns me on.

EVERYthing about her turns me on! She's pretty, she has an insanely sexy figure, and even a sexy, purring voice.

Stop it, stop it, I know I know!!!!

(The silly thing is that she's 6' 2" and I'm only 5'.... well never mind, suffice it to say that she's A LOT taller than I am. ) :)

She touched me. When we finished talking at her table, she got up to take a break. I thanked her for her time and for, well, doing her job well and entertaining me on TV. She said "Oooh, no, thank YOU," and gave me a squeeze on the arm. What an absolute doll.

:adore:

Suzi! Come to Chiller in October and I'm all yours! :)

I was also upset when K'Ehleyr was killed so soon. She's such a strong character... She's my favourite recurring Trek guest star.

She's my favorite recurring guest star too. I'm still upset when K'Ehleyr is killed, every time. What a waste.

Women with an edge never seemed to last long in TNG.

It's too bad that she didn't have more appearances as a recurring character. Dr. Selar especially, considering the number of times she was mentioned in TNG.

Her voice is what stands out most for me. I loved hearing it.

Two years ago at the Las Vegas Star Trek convention, my then-2 1/2 year old daughter was having a meltdown (it was naptime) in the corridor between the large open area prior to the actual convention rooms, and where the stairs go up to the restrooms. We were sitting on one of the benches against the wall, and a tall woman wearing jeans and a blouse, with long curly hair walked up to us, said, "Hey, sweetie--what's wrong?" and squatted down next to us and stroked my daughter's hair and tried to calm her down. After a few seconds I realized it was Suzie Plakson! I think she was on her way to go into the dealer's room to sign autographs, and I was really impressed with her on a human level that she would stop to see if she could calm down a sad little girl. I agree with all the previous posters that she is super-nice and very genuine! :techman:

I'm a fan. She was terriic at Creation's Parsippany, NJ, con in 2009. Very entertaining at the Klingon cabaret. I also have an autographed CD of hers.

My favorite of her characters was K'Ehleyr... I really wish they hadn't killed her off and that she had married Worf. *sigh*

She had a great screen presence. She is just one of those people that grabs your attention whenever she is on screen, like Shatner. She was sexy, intelligent, and more realistic than most of the other Klingons. And she had a great rack too.
