Interestingly this story was suppose to be a lot shorter and was not going to feature Bluefin at all. As Mistral has pointed out, Akinola and co provide a very nice balance to the otherwise rather insidious elements of this tale. Their inclusion will also helps to foreshadow and explain a lot of what is to come next.
I openly admit that Star Eagle has begun to take a much darker turn, to some degree influenced by works from other United Trek writers.
Expect "All the Sinners" in the coming few weeks and I hope you'll all be on board for that one as well.
