Two screencaps from the latest PIC trailer because I'm just happy to see Sir Patrick acting again after so many months

One of my favorite Patrick Stewart performances is in the indie movie Match from a few years back. It's a wonderful little film with emotionally charged performances led by Stewart and also Carla Gugino and Matthew Lillard.
Has anyone heard the rumors (which should be taken with a whole mountain of salt) that Sir Patrick is gonna be coming back to play Professor X in "Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness"? The rumors seem to indicate he will be in his yellow hoverchair from the cartoon (!) and also be a member of the Illuminati (the superhero team with that title, not the weird conspiracy theory dudes), and there are even rumors that Hugh Jackman will be back as Wolverine!
I have yet to see ONE credible website confirming this. It all seems to be based on supposed “leaked concept photos” that show a blurred bald guy in a yellow chair who could be basically anyone. It’s just concept pics. It does seem to be Professor X, yes, but I don’t know why they think it’s Sir Patrick who’s gonna play him. That part is nothing but wild speculation, and I also really don’t know where and when Sir Patrick is supposed to have shot any scenes - he’s been busy with PIC ever since February, and before that the whole of Hollywood was basically in lockdown. So meh, I don’t know. I need more than dubious “sources” to give this even the slightest “they might be on to something” consideration. Anyone can put the words “concept photos” over some blurred images and claim it’s “leaked”. (I wish there hadn’t been such a terrible decline of quality entertainment journalism that has made me incredibly cynical towards any kind of major franchise news that haven’t been confirmed but here we are.)
Well, like I said, take it with a mountain of salt. I am one of those wishful dreamers who hopes we get a proper sendoff for Sir Patrick as Professor X (I really didn't like Logan, and as much as I love Sir Patrick, I cannot fathom why he felt it was a good ending for that character, unless he just never enjoyed playing the character, which I would find rather disappointing). Professor X had a great ending in Days of Future Past, and they should have left him and the X-Men on a high note there, instead of killing everyone off offscreen, then having Professor X murdered and then buried in a ditch on the side of the road. Extreme disservice to the character, IMHO.
