The Sinking of the Laconia

Anyone watch the 1st part last night?
I must admit to not knowing about the Laconia until I heard the BBC was making a drama about it.
From the little I have read, I know the German lady was really a English nurse in real life, I'm not sure it there are another liberaties taken with the drama.
The 2nd part is on tonight.

Two-part drama based on the true story of the Allied ship Laconia, sunk in WWII by a German U-Boat, which then surfaced against orders to rescue the civilian crew
