The Silent Stars Go By

i ordered this at my local book store today. just curious if anyone has read it and what they though. i've read a lot of the recent comics and some of the classic stuff...but this will be my first Doctor Who book.

 

[The Wormhole]

Pretty damn good book. Mind you, if they had simply decreased the print size they could easily have fit it into the 250 page count and made it part of the regular NSA line. But that's a minor complaint, the story itself is awesome and this is a book I recommend. Ice Warriors are cool.

Another recommendation here. I'm a fan of Dan Abnett in general, and i'd say 'The Silent Stars Go By' is certainly one of his best novels.

cool. i've never read any of Abnett's books, but i've read tons of comics he's co-wrote with Andy Lanning. and yeah, one of the reasons i'm getting this is because it features the Ice Warriors.
