The sideways universe-a possible sacrifice for the Smoke Monster

It's been rumored that something bad will happen during the concert in the sideways universe where all of the Oceanic 815 passengers would come together to watch. I think it will be here that the Smoke Monster will enter into the sideways universe and to be free to roam and destroy in order to save the original Lost universe. Maybe all of the Oceanic 815 passengers have to attend the concert because together they would form an energy point strong enough to pull the Smoke Monster onto the other side.

Interesting theory. I am waiting for something strange or significant to happen when the sideways-Losties finally do all get together. Since Desmond came into play things have had more urgency to them.

I think that people cannot exist in both realities. I think Jack in the flash-sideways is noticing all that blood since he's chosen to stay on the island to protect it.

However, in the end, the island will be sunk (to protect the light) and sharks with the Dharma markings will be the protectors of the light.

I think Jack will sacrifice himself on the island, resulting him in making a miraculous recovery in the flash-sideways. Everybody on the island will either die or choose to sacrifice their reality and will be "resurrected" in the flash-sideways reality when the flash-sideways characters fully realize and remember their time-loop journey which started as reality diversifying for them during the plane crash (except for Desmond which probably has a more complex "path" thru time)

For it to come down to flash-sideways universe vs. "our" universe is the obvious way to go, which is why I really hope it's anything else. For FS to be the afterlife would be one possibility. These writers have been pretty good at avoiding the obvious.
