The shrinking Hirogen

So if ninety percent of their body is collapsable genitals, then maybe the Hirogen are some sort of shellfish, and their seeming bipedal nature is only because of all that armour they are wearing which is a (technological) shell.

I think it's long past due that you rename yourself "Guy Gutter."

Divergent evolution from 20000 light years of separation.

The Hirogen 60000 light years away from Earth cross bred with taller species than the Hirogen 40000 light years away from Earth to the point they are basically two separate species.

We got the answer today...

What had happened was, when they conceived of the Hirogen, they cast every 7-foot tall actor they could find in Hollywood. I was living in Hollywood at the time. They went through them pretty quickly. They certainly went through the ones who could act very quickly. Then, they started working their way down the height chart. This is what I was told. I'm 6' 2", so they got to me after a while. They were just casting tall actors, because Hirogen are all big.

The whole ship is getting larger, along with everyone and everything in it. Only no one noticed because all the tape measures have grown as well. By the time they get home the Voyager is the size of a Galaxy-class and no one can fit through the doors at Starfleet HQ.
Nah, that's just the Doctor's ego
