The seven other Starfleet ships

The other seven starships which were with the Enterprise at Spacedock and arrived at Vulcan just before Nero wiped them out look like they’re from the same design lineage as the USS Kelvin with their nacelle design. Were these ships still top-of-line in 2258, or were they starfleet’s 2250s equivalent of the Mirandas and Excelsiors in the TNG-era of the Prime Universe? We don’t know how old the USS Kelvin is in 2233, but I guess anywhere from the 2210s to 2230. I guess Starfleet could have kept building Kelvin-derived designs as late as 2240, since development of the Constitution Class took a decade longer than in the Prime universe. We don’t see any starfleet ships that bear more of a resemblance to the nuEnterpirse. I guess newer starflleet ships have been deployed to the Laurentian System and elsewhere.

I sorta had the idea that the ship classes we see may have been around as early as the late 22nd century, only because of the interior similarities between the KELVIN & the NX.
