Though Travis enjoyed his steampunk life, he had anything but a steampunk outlook. He wanted to be a ballerina; a ballerina who danced to his own beat, and to Blue Grass music. He loved Blue Grass, and was considered to be a renowned mouth harp player. In fact, he was once ranked #27 in the world, and performed concerts throughout the local neighborhood of star systems, until his father asked him to begin hauling cargo.

But Travis is always dancing in his heart.

Speaking of hearts, Travis was fond of pickled beef hearts, and ate them at every opportunity. He once sent a selection the fare to Captain Archer, though Captain Archer was unsympathetic, and viewed Mayweather as a 'brown-noser.'

I bet Travis had lots of interesting hobbies. It's just the TPTB were so focused on Trip and Tpol by season 3. In any czase I like to think Hoshi had a bit of a crush on him given that she thought about hinm in Exile and her reaction to his "death" in Dead Stop. They could've developed a nice romance with thise two.
