The runts of the fleet, and more... highly accurate vehicles and props, digital and practical.

Does anyone know what the bs deal is with the site all of a sudden deciding that an upload is too large? When it's the same as the other files that you've been posting?

IIRC, I believe there is both a physical size limit and an X/Y dimensional size limit. No idea what those actual numbers are, though. That would be a good question for a mod.

I've seen the posting about smaller is better, but when I'm uploading a few images and there are random pop up notices of an attachment being too large all of a sudden, when it's the same as all of its friends. Whether in the same post or a new one... it's frustrating. Thanks!

I agree. I usually limit my uploads here to little one-off pics.

I use ImgChest now for storing the big stuff. I used to use ImgUr but it got blocked in the UK. All the image hosting services really kind of suck, and there's no one "sweet spot" service that has all the things one needs to adequately store and categorize media for long-term and multi-purpose use. Each one has irritating limitations and odd design choices, but ImgChest is the best one I've worked with in the modern era. Or, I should say, the "least worst". 🫤
