TNG's Spacedock Drone.

Probably what Snoopy would've been zipping around on. Also considered a WIP until I can see the underside of the real deal. Some unresolved material properties til I wrap it all up at that point.250709_01.png

Nice work! Always cool seeing these models that are cobbled-together from random parts. Getting to be a rarity since most ships are done digitally these days.

BTW, when the behind the scenes pics for the tug came out, I had a big *DiCaprio pointing meme* moment since a lot of the parts were in my kids' toybox, particularly the "arms"!

The range of sci-fi building toys that went into these second team ships is staggering. And the cost to acquire them as reference now is brutal sometimes, but necessary... sigh ;-) Thanks...!

ST III Merchantman | SS Eileen

There's a long story behind this, but the short ver is that I am looking for ref and ref help (but don't see a place to request such, so unsure how to go after that). This one has been especially cantankerous. Finicky. A right pain in the... well... you get the idea?

With the history of the model, locking down the last 4-6 kits used on the ship has been a task. Sharing what I can with the original builder as well. Will drop in cg wip and 'practical' set-up for referencing, riffing.

etc etc etc... lots more could be shown, but a touch frustrated in this late-stage WIP... grrr ;-)

ST III and IV's Spacedock Tugs. The model was modified for IV with new pilots and a lighting system.
