UPDATE... More details inside the wings. I don’t think I’ll add much more. Don’t need it to be too cluttered.
I really like what you did with the supportive structures for the inside of the nacelles. Very Romulan-looking.
Wonderful work! You should have worked on Star Trek Enterprise. I thought Lt. Styles said, in referring to the Romulan ships from this period, "They are painted with a giant bird of prey" KIRK "I had no idea history was your specialty" etc etc Great work. Paul
He's getting to that. I can already see the 'wings' forming on the underside. Are we sticking with the traditional green hull, or the even-more-traditional gunmetal gray?
I haven't decided on the color yet. UPDATE... Well I added a few more bits and cleaned up a few things. I decided to add two disrupters instead of useing the hole in the center.
How about a warmer copper color? A metallic orange/brown? Then have the bird paint job on top of that? --Alex
I haven't thought much about the color yet but I was thinking a combination of copper and some sort of green. I'm not thing of a bird paint job yet. I just prefer the concept of forward disrupers on this ship.
Thanks. UPDATE... I was getting fed up with the rommy ship so I went back and added a bunch of stuff to the bottom of this one.
Went to the Doctor to get my chemo treatment but unfortunately my white blood cell count was too low to get treatment. It pushes all my other treatments back by a week and I should have been half way done today. UPDATE... Did a little bit of a test for work on the rim of the saucer. This is what I think the windows will look like.
Like the window treatment! Did you intentionally remove the ridge from between some of the windows? Sorry about the chemo setback. Hopefully you'll still be on track to finish.
UPDATE... Well as far as I’m concerned the rim windows are finished. They’re a bit big but I can live with it.
UPDATE.. Added some new details to the back of the ship and worked on the spin a bit. I also add the round things from the top of the saucer on the NX-01.
