Well, you didn't ask a question in your OP, so no one knew what to say.

Yes, today was indeed a wonderful, moving and momentous occasion, but the nation as a whole still has long way to go. There is still a great deal of racism, sexism and religious intolerance.

Still, we have made great strides in the last 40 years, and I hope we continue to do so.
