Nice rainy afternoon movie. I love Gene Hackman as the coach.

I LOLed when the on strike footballers tipped over Keanu's car and he says, "Thanks, guys." and clicks his alarm to lock it, then walks off to practice.

(This is the first time I've ever used "LOLed" in a sentence, not sure I like it)

And the cheerleader girl is/was hot, so that helps.

That's about the only thing I remember about the movie

Sadly, I almost watched the TV version of "The Net" because she starred in it.

I think I laughed the second time that happened with the bouncer dudes who shot out the QB's Ferrari.

Yeah, The Replacements is one of my guilty pleasures - not a great movie, but fun, and worth the couple hours every time. If I'm flipping channels and nothing else is better, I'll stop and watch it, no matter where it is in the film. And, yeah, the head cheerleader is hot, and a real sweetheart character. As for Keanu, the movie plays to his strengths, so it works. Gene Hackman is also a great character in this. Bought the DVD - have never once regretted it.

I wish I could say something classy and inspirational, but that just wouldn't be our style.
