If they just got out of Borg space that means their still what? 40-50 years away from Earth? So, how did Seven of Nine and her parents get their ship the Raven all the way out there to begin with? Her parents traveled 50 years across the Galaxy? Help me understand this please.

Been a long time since I saw it, but didn't the raven get pulled into transwarp due to being too close to a cube?

It was a transwarp conduit, which the OP will discover in episode 1 of season 5's Dark Frontier.

The ship wasn't "pulled in", rather the idiot parents followed a cube through one of their own accord.
