It appears to be premiering in Canada on July 25th (although unfortunately, I don't think I get that channel). But it looks like it started airing in Britain on May 28. Has anyone seen any of it? If so, what do you think of it? Is it worth watching?

Obviously a ton of CGI vs the Blue Planet series' breathtaking cinematography, but I think they'll do an amazing and honest job on this. Didn't the Beeb do the dinosaur series as well?

I can't wait to see more of this.

Absolutely gorgeous series, some really fantastic cgi images in each of the episodes. And you might even learn a new little tidbit or two.

Highly recommend.

Does the show use Gustav Holst's album for a soundtrack?

Looks interesting. I'll have to track it down if it comes to DVD.

The ones on the Science Network spend the last 20 minutes of each episode discussing the remote possibility of life in some form being supported somehow. Like "Ooh there's organic residue on Pluto and it has underground liquid water oceans MAYBE THERE'S LIFE THERE!" Hopefully this one doesn't do that.
