Bad guys AND Heroes who miss perfect opportunities for whatever they're supposed to be doing, because they're too busy gloating or monologuing.

I did this a year or so ago, and recall making some lovely poems out of the responses by using creative punctuation and editing! I wonder how many of people's answers are the same as last time.

I do recall turning Holdy's answers into a great whimsical poem!

I thought this topic seemed vaguely familiar...

I looked at my answers from last time and compared them to this time. Some the same, some a little different. In some ways, the consistency surprised me more than the differences. Most of the differences have some fairly obvious reasons (either trying to answer the questions fractionally more seriously this time, or not being in the same sort of setting as last year eg. not really getting woken up by on-call emergencies much anymore due to a change in the kind of work I do).

Last time:

1. What is your favorite word? supercalifragilisticexpealidocious (even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious, if you say it loud enough you'll always sound precocious)
2. What is your least favorite word? suoicodiliaipxecitsiligarfilacrepus
3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? elegant or harmonious patterns/concepts
4. What turns you off creatively, spiritually or emotionally? bureaucracy
5. What sound or noise do you love? the gentle swish of a pair of stockinged legs crossing... or the click of heels on hard flooring!
6. What sound or noise do you hate? my phone going off in the middle of the night when I'm on call and sleeping
7. What is your favorite curse word? fiddlesticks
8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? Politician
9. What profession would you not like to do? Nurse

2. What is your least favorite word? "Policy Document"
3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? Elegance, esp. in complex, inter-related systems. And a well-turned ankle in a nice pair of high heels.
4. What turns you off? Neuroticism, esp. of the anxious and obsessive kinds; needless bureaucracy (often related to the neuroticism...)
5. What is your favorite curse word? I don't think I have a particular favourite. The usual Anglo-Saxon stalwarts will suffice.
6. What sound or noise do you love? The ocean; cheesy 80s music.
7. What sound or noise do you hate? Emergency Sirens; Pneumatic Drills.
8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? CEO of a large multinational company; International Financier; Museum Curator at a well-funded gallery; (successful) Restaurant Owner.
9. What profession would you not like to do? Anything requiring I get my hands dirty or I can't dress up nicely for..
10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? "All yours dude. Keys are under the mat, the maid comes on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, and watch out for the gatecrashes from Hell on Saturday night. Ciao."

It seems that overall, I've become even more narcissitic, judging by the God answer...

I do prefer my last year answer to the "sounds you love" question though.
