The Photoshop Thread, Part V

It took me a while to see what the hell the edit here was.

The minimalist set design is very Irwin Allen, but I don't think Robot was ever as well lit on LiS.
Yes, I thought the wide open spaces with dark wings all around (no walls) hearkened back to Irwin Allen sets of Lost In Space. Plus the electronic sound effects of the Vian laboratory also reflected it. Perfect place to put a B9 robot. ;) As for lighting on the robot, he's certainly not in a spotlight but yes, I probably could have darkened him still. I ran out of time. But it's much better than my original version posted a long while back that was painfully wrong.

I remember laughing out loud when I saw the original: it was so perfect in its wrongness. I mean the idea of LiS doing an S&M-tinged ep gives one pause, as well as new meaning to the phrase, "Oh, the pain … the pain."

But I intended to compliment you on the lighting of Robot. It is moody and slightly spooky. The dig was intended for LiS. The color episodes—with the exception of "The Anti-Matter Man"—were flat and uninteresting. Your piece shows artistry.
