Nope, he's not blended with anyone else. Just very heavily aged with various tools and his skin color desaturated to various degrees.
The moustache and goatee are from a picture of another guy also swiped from a google picture search, but the facial hair was the only element of that guy's face taken. The rest is just Modified Shat.
I think he looks pretty good...my only concern is that I think he looks kinda Hispanic all of a sudden, and I don't know why.

...I'm NOT a Shat-fan, but I love it... especially the black uniform. (5 pips=fleet captain?)
One favor pleeeeeeeeease??? Could you make a widescreen version? My resolution is 1440x900. Wish I could photoshop!

No problem. I had to kinda re-marry some of the elements and I didn't take quite as much time blending them, but..still...it didn't come out too badly.

I very much like the black uniforms except for one detail. The use of a "matte" or "flat" black eliminates any sense of surface detail, contour , or shadow. It might've looked a little better with a deep charcoal instead.

If it's me and the old Kirk wallpaper you're addressing and not the other talented folks who have instituted the awesome black TOS uniforms onto the screengrabs...you're right, of course. Pure laziness on my part.
I had simply blacked out the suit Shatner was wearing and given him a turtleneck type collar line in preparation to add a uniform.
I was looking at it and thought...eh, the black is pretty cool.
Close enough for Rock and Roll.
I might mess with it some more if someone can suggest a source for cool high res and appropriate uniform images.

I'm so glad you said that, he struck me that way, too. I still like it though, and it is now my wallpaper. The 1440 works pretty well at 1680 x 1050.

Obviously, I know nothing about photoshop stuff, but I do think TWOK uniforms would be awesome in charcoal gray, perhaps with a light gray collar underneath. The piping/trim could stay dark black and still look kool.
Just an idea.
