Hmmm...I wouldn't mind seeing this guy in a F.C. era Starfleet uniform, or in a more fitting TNG-era/Post-Nem era 'Harry Mudd'-style sleaze role.

Well, as people seem to like the black uniforms, I figured I would spend a little more time on it and see what they might look like on the bridge.

And further examples, with StarBase personnel in non-black uniforms...

I love the black uniforms. Kind of reminds me of the darker military look in an alternate TNG episode (where Tasha lived?) Being ex-Navy I always thought the TOS uniforms had too much color.
