The Phantom Tollbooth (1970 animated movie) remember this?

It's an awesome, smart, exciting and unique live-action and animated cult fantasy epic based on Norton Juster's classic book. It's directed by Chuck Jones and stars Butch Patrick of "Munsters" fame about a bored young San Francisco boy named Milo who is 11 years old as a weird magical package that takes him into an animated world of imagination, numbers at war with words and other bizarre stuff on an Oz-like mission to save that world from being corrupted by the demons of ignorance.

One of my favorite movies as a kid with "Dark Crystal" that i still admire today and thank god it's on youtube, a must see for kids and adults alike.

Tollbooth was fun, but my favorite Jones adaptation of a Juster book remains The Dot and the Line.

I never saw the adaptation but I remember the book. Excellent stuff.

Vaguely remember the film, but remember clearly reading the book back in the 5th Grade.
