True. That telekinetic Force-choke wasn't a love hug, so when the Emperor told him he'd killed Padme he believed it...because that was what he had tried to do before Obi-Wan made him release her from his grip.

He murdered innocent children, which was much worse.
The Jedi Temple Massacre alone was enough to cement him into the depths of the Dark Side. Even if he had never committed another crime for the remainder of his mortal life he would have been remembered as a mass murderer of men, women and children with the blood of hundreds on his hands. He took his greatest step into the darkness when he marched into the Jedi Temple. Everything else was just salt on the wound.
Did he? We never saw that. Maybe Obi-Wan lied about it. Lie? Well, he just told the truth from a certain point of view.
Sounds like crazy conspiracy talk to me...the kind of stuff you'd hear on the HoloNet channels that carry "The Lord Alexei Jones Show."
Didn't Anakin pretty much ADMIT to killing the children? Hell was it not heavily implied in the movie? And given what he did to the Tuskan Raiders does it really seem out of line for him? (In spite of what Padme would want you to believe.)

Sure, but there are a few people out there who don't think Anakin was capable of murdering younglings and that it was the 501st Legion Clone Troopers who did most of the killing inside the Jedi Temple. Only problem is, we SAW Anakin ignite his lightsaber in preparation for slaughtering the kids in the High Council chamber. We know he did it.
I would love to have read Anakin's "I'm Lonely" thread in Misc.

I was thinking more about lashing out at authority figures for making changes to their own properties without his approval. Because he claims to have more knowledge than his more experienced elders..... hmmmm "You don't give me what I want so you are crazy and selfish!"
