The Outer Limits 1995 series.

Double Helix and The Origin Of Species were great but so many episodes apart..... That should have been a direct two parter it was awesome. I love the genetic code aliens

I have the viavision box set but must have got a bad batch because some discs won't load at all. I'm glad to hear the show is apparently on Amazon Prime

What do you play it on? I haven't yet had issues so far with my set.

BTW Innobotics must be the most useless corporation. ALL of their robots malfunction

I know I've watched at least some of these back in the day but the only one I remember (because it was so awesome) was the episode with Amanda Plummer in it.

If you get the network Comet on your TV they show the basic cable versions of several episode a day.

The Viavision set is unedited.
That is not entirely true, unfortunately. Several episodes are ("Valerie 23“ and "Caught in the Act" have the nudity intact), others like "The Human Operators" are not. Both the Canadian and Australian releases have these edits. There is an ongoing German release of the series with seasons 1 to 5 released so far, but I have not been able to find out whether those are unedited or not.

That's interesting. What edits were done for "The human operators" and for the life of me I can't ever remember reading the story it was based on yet when the episode started I felt like I knew the story word for word.

Out of curiosity I skimmed through The Human Operators" on Amazon Prime and it is the unedited version. The other two episodes mentioned Valerie 23 and Caught in the Act are both Season 1 episodes, so they're not on there.

Nudity was removed. IIRC it was done through rather clunky zoom-ins so you only see the actors' faces.

That episode was better then I thought it would be but again when I watched it last week I felt I knew most of the dialog even though I can't recall ever reading the story it was based on. Ship's dialog was what stuck out to me I feel like I have heard it before word for word.

Fun fact: "The Human Operators" takes place in the same fictional universe as the original series episode "Demon with a Glass Hand". The Starfighters from THO were built for the war against the Kyben.
