With COVID and all I apparently completely missed this........it almost seems like an Onion article:

The Family Guy creator is adapting author Herman Wouk’s The Winds of War and War and Remembrance as a limited series. Universal Content Productions is the studio on the drama and will shop the series to broadcast and cable networks as well as streaming outlets.

So if this is still happening he may be busy for a year or two..........I love the book and original ABC adaptations.

I wonder how long post production is going to take. Hopefully not another year.
good question. I expect the post on the episodes that were already finished before COVID to be long finished by now, so I guess that the anticipated late 2021 release shouldn’t be a problem at all.

:guffaw:

And yet, so soon we forget, SILENCE OF THE LAMBS was helmed by a formerly mostly-comedic director, while even Bill Murray attempted 1980s film drama at times.

And Friday the 13th was added to the Criterion Collection, so anything can happen.
And some Orville cast members have been on gory murder shows.

I suppose nearly all actors have done gore at least once. They are a tough lot! Indeed, I have found that Seth McFarlane's old cartoons can be very gory. He is certainly not the kind of person I would have expected it to create an anti-dote like the Orville!

As for murder shows, I believe Scott Grimes has been in Dexter, and Adrianne Palicki has been a murderer in criminal minds. Mind you, Kelly Grayson is arguably a mass shooter herself, after All The World Is Birthday Cake.

But, I need to forgive Halston Jean Schrage. It is obvious that she did what was right for her with Prodigal Son. And I am disappointed that the show was cancelled with so much unresolved – and on her birthday! Maybe she will be able to take up Ainsley's story again herself, if she is able to become a producer. And if she wanted to 'go Fury', it's certainly better that she was able to do it as another character.
Mind you, I have seen a clip of her killing, and she actually did it a bit like Alara, i.e. very quick, and with great hidden strength. Indeed, her victim was actually a serial killer himself. His last words were, "The whole system is mine, I can do anything I want, ARRGH!"
Thing is, Sage genuinely is stronger than she looks. From now on, it looks like it will be very dangerous to cross anyone played by her!
