If Ed pulls that friggin' teleporting device out of his drawer and uses it in a future episode when it should have vanished with Pria, somebody will then be required to slap him upside the head and say, "No! Bad writer!"

Depends on how entertaining it is? I've given Star Trek a lot of latitude over the years because, more often than not, it is entertaining.

They can say they scanned the transmat/transporter/teleporter thing and 3-D printed a copy. Easy breezy.

I fully expect to see the gadget back later in the season. It's Chekhov's teleporter.

Another enjoyable ep. SO glad to have John Debney'e Seaquest music back on TV. (OK, it sounds an awful lot like his Seaquest music)

Surprised nobody mentioned the amputation point of the leg that fell from the ceiling was much higher and included the thigh versus the above the knee shown on Scott Grimes.

I saw that brought up elsewhere, with the suggestion, did someone else get their leg amputated? Perhaps even by Isaac?

Serveaux / the Wind / the Man / Dennis / whatever his name is brought it up on the first page of this thread.

"The first intelligent life in three million and two years and it's the android version of Norman Bates". What is it with psychotic androids?

Hey! I just thought of something. If Seinfeld in the Orville's world is identical to Seinfeld in the real world, then they've seen Kramer talk about his katra and George screaming "Khaaaaaaaaaan!" - in other words, Star Trek is part of their world as well!

So I just rewatched this. I think if i were going to show someone one episode of this show, this would be it.
