The new and final season of The Orignals starts tonight.
I haven't heard a ton about the story for this season other than that we are getting a time jump, and Hope is going to be a teenager now.

The Originals is one of my favorite shows, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how they are going to end things this season.

I love the show but just like TVD, at the time a new season starts I have no idea what the last one was about, I don't even know which characters are alive or not (ok, that's a bit fluent in this franchise). Glad it's back, off to read a recap...

I'm looking forward to the final season. This show's quality has stayed relatively high throughout its run.

That was a great end to a great show.

I do have some questions, though:

Are all Elijah-descended vampires now dust? Does this mean Klaus' sires and sire-descendents are the last vampires on Earth (other than Kol and, temporarily, Rebekkah)? I don't remember if Rebekkah was technically dead enough to kill off her sires and sire descendants, though those sires would certainly be dead in another hundred years (if she isn't magically separated from her sires by then).
