And I'm not stopping you, although I would caution you that your threads don't appear to be overflowing with people willing to take the time to offer comments on your work.

Given your response to the sole poster who has taken the time to do so, I'm not entirely surprised that the only person to be posting replies in your threads is you.

I couldn't disagree with Mr. Sandoval more. I think what you're doing is different, especially the way in which you are presenting it. Stick to your guns. With 500+ views in your thread, I think you're doing something right. Don't let others dictate how you want to write. As long as its "star trek" to the core, which yours is, then you are doing just fine.

In one of my stories I am depicting a kid with Cerebral Palsy in our "real world" and his attempts to live in a virtual Star Trek world with his friends, who are also afflicted with their own issues. Mr. Sandoval didn't like it either. But at least he is reading both our stories and giving us constructive advice. Some of it I take to heart, some of it I don't.

I like your story. Don't stop.

No, I think I'll continue to choose where I post myself if it's all the same to you, in the same way that you're free to post in the threads you chose to post in.

Hey, did you ever read Vendetta? It's a TNG era novel, very old from the early 1990s. Anyway, it was a terrific Borg origin story. It may give some ideas.
