ive been trying to play some videos on it recently, but I cant get it to play it just loads & loads, and when I close the tab, it pauses for a few seconds.

obviously ive got other online videos to work before, so that shouldnt be a problem

I've had that problem, too, and I'm located comfortably within the United States. Generally, I just wait a few hours and watch the copy they upload on YouTube. Assuming I care enough to remember.

Some websites only allow people with IP addresses from certain countries to view their videos, because someone else in other countries have the licensing rights to the videos and they don't want to take away revenue from those other companies (and it's most likely in the contract). Usually though the video player will tell you if the video you're trying to watch isn't available in your country.

What your describing wamdue sounds more like way too many people are trying to watch a video at the same time, and they can't serve the content to everyone.
