I remembered when i was 8 in 1989 playing the NES GB 1 & 2 game i thought they were awful then later when i was 11 in 1992 when i got the Genesis i got Ghostbusters for the Genesis and that was the ONLY good GB game before the newest one.
The old school Ghostbusters game, any memories?

Never had a C64.
I have fond memories of the Amstrad CPC 464 version, which I'm sure was just a straight port of the Spectrum & C64 versions.
Beat me to it.
I feel basically the same way. The only things good about those games were the feelings I felt as a little kid briefly when I played them. None of them were particularly good then, and they certainly don't hold any replay value now (and I play old games quite a bit).
I remember it.
1. Annoyingly slow teleprinter.
2. No I do not have an account.
3. I can only afford the slow car.
4. The forklift truck doesn't pick the $*@£ing stuff up and install it.
5. I can't tell which building I'm going to. What side of the flashing one do I have to stand?
6. How long does the damn road go on for?
7. WTF?! After all that, there's no ghost here. I must have stood on the wrong side of the flashing building
8. Another looooong road.
9. A ghost! Oh crap I crossed the streams. My bad. Back to the flashing buildings.
10. But now there's a marshmallow man trampling the buildings. Is that game over? No?
11. Another road.
12. Another ghost! Great!... But It says I'm out of traps Go Back to HQ. WTF? TELL ME NOW?!
13. ROAD!!!
14. Now the PKE has overloaded 32768 and it's gone back to zero.
15. All my buildings are flashing. The city has took away my franchise. I've been shut down.

I was 5 when I played it and I was amazed, haha. I didn't care how much it sucked, I loved Ghostbusters too much to care, I was just happy to play a Ghostbusters game.
Have you played GB for Genesis? that was a kickass game.
