I'm not sure how to rate "Möbius Dick." I quite liked the first act; it was moody and had a nice flavor of adventure and danger. The rest was fairly entertaining and had a lot of good gags, but I felt it depended too much on forcing Leela into a role that didn't grow naturally out of her character, much as "Yo Leela Leela" did. I guess she's always been driven and kind of a control freak, so it's not entirely out of the blue, but it seemed forced.
And how is it that New New York was an empty, open field just 50 years back? Maybe the idea was that the Planet Express building was relocated at some point, but given its position next to the water, I think the intent was that the building was in the same place and the city had grown up around it. That didn't really work for me.
I liked the famous spaceships we saw in the graveyard sequence. And this is the second episode in a row to feature a cameo by the Fourth Doctor (although this one was produced well before "All the President's Heads," so it's technically the first, and not in a row).
And I liked the reference to the "Bermuda Tetrahedron." They remembered space is three-dimensional, yayy!! Take that, Delta Triangle from "The Time Trap"!
