Another new member here... my username is talfe'anhar. I have been a trekker since the original series first aired. Which means I'm an old lady. I'm loving the rebooted films with just one exception, which I won't state here because I don't want to start an argument in my first post! Anyway, I'm happy to have found this forum.

Howyiz! Uhurock here. New to the board but not to Trek. Been a fan since my eleventh year on earth. Like NimoySpock and QuintoSpock equally well; like PineKirk much better than ShatKirk [sorry, Shat]; love my McCoys and Uhuras equally and love that Nuhura has more to do now. Been in the real actual military which ain't Starfleet, but was in the closest thing to an earth equivalent. You may have seen me over at TrekMovie under another name. 
To celebrate his recent appointment as director of the next Trek movie in 2016. The real King Daniel is far more handsome.

I joined here because my old Star Trek group has kind of died. It's just gone dead. It used to be a lively place but over the last few months has just died.
