The Obligatory Mid-Off Series Companions Poll

[The Nth Doctor]

It's that time again to do a favorite companion poll for all of Doctor Who. I'm especially interested in seeing the results this time now that we have had a full series of Donna (last time was before series 4).

Also, I'm curious to know which characters I've included you don't consider companions (last time I did a second poll on this, but vBulletin doesn't allow for multiple questions ).

I know people are going to yell at me for having Romanadvoratrelundar as one option, but she is one person so I'm including her as one. Feel free to specify which one you prefer.

Oh, and vote for FIVE companions.

Lastly, don't mind the BIG mistake I made.

In no particular order, and today: Sarah-Jane, Leela, Romana the first (don't care for the second at all), Ian and Barbara. Based on what I've seen so far, Donna could bump someone out of that list before long.

I voted for Ian, Captain Jack, Rose Tyler, K-9 and Donna Noble. I should add that my Classic Who knowledge is yet limited to the first two seasons, so most of these names don't mean anything to me, yet.

No, what happened is because stupid vBulletin posts the thread before you even make the poll, I was rushing to get the poll out, and by the time I got to Martha, I was running on auto-pilot and my brain picked out the wrong last lame. Also, because I was in a hurry, I didn't properly vet the poll.

Hmmm, I say we have fun with this poll in about a week and do a "Big Brother-Doctor Who Companion" edition thread, using the top ten winners as the housemates, and make it a running series like the avatar threads. Each week, we vote for 1 HOH, 1 POV, and 2 candidates for "the vote."

So, we first vote for HOH.
Then then of the remaining ones, we ask for votes for candidates for eviction.
Then of those remaining ones, we ask for a POV winner.
Then we ask "Should (insert name here) use the POV?"

If the answer is "Yes" then we survey again for which one to save.
If the answer is "No" then we vote for eviction.

Sound like a plan or too complicated?
